De Joglo
De joglo is traditioneel ingericht en heeft twee terrassen. Het terras aan de achterzijde heb je helemaal privé. Het heeft een vijver en grenst direct aan de sawah. Deze sawah is in de regentijd begroeit met rijst en in de droge tijd met groenten.
Het terras aan de voorzijde grenst aan onze tuin. Vanuit dit terras heb je ook contact met ons en de familie. Langs de joglo loopt een pad wat overdag af en toe als doorgang wordt gebruikt door mensen die op de rijstvelden gaan werken. Dit pad wordt in de avond en nacht afgesloten. Aan de andere zijde van de joglo hebben wij een verzameling schitterende orchideeën hangen. De joglo heeft een eenvoudige keuken met o.a. een koelkast met diepvriesvak, gasstel, gasoven, blender, strijkijzer enz. Wij zorgen voor dagelijks schoon drinkwater in de Joglo. Verder is er een eenvoudige traditionele badkamer en een westers toilet. Tenslotte is er televisie en wifi.
The Joglo
The joglo is traditionally furnished and has two terraces. A terrace at the front and a terrace at the back. The terrace at the back is completely private. It has a pond and the terrace is adjacent to the sawah. This sawah is grown in the rainy season with rice and in the dry season with vegetables.
The front terrace is adjacent to our garden. From this terrace you also have contact with us and the family. Along the joglo there is a path that is used by people who work on the rice fields occasionally during the daytime. This path is closed in the evening and night. On the other side of the joglo is our orchid garden. The joglo has a simple kitchen including a fridge with a freezer compartment, gas stove, gas oven, blender, iron etc. We ensure that there is always clean drinking water available in the Joglo. There is also a simple traditional bathroom and a western toilet. Finally there is television and wifi.
